My story
Sarah moved to London in 2014 to follow her dream of becoming an arts therapist. She qualified as a Drama and Movement therapist from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (UoL) in 2016 and is an experienced registered professional with the HCPC. She is a qualified Trasformational Life Coach specialised in working with teenagers and young adults, professionals and women.
Sarah's background is in Educational Sciences, she graduated with summa cum laude at her MA in Pedagogy in 2012, from the University of Genoa. Her thesis centred on her pioneering training project for teachers and educational specialists in Finnish schools. During her BA Sarah researched the impact of creativity in the scholastic system and how it impacts on human development. Sarah's drive and thirst for knowledge brought her to work in schools and universities in Iceland, Finland, France and Italy. Sarah's main area of interest is the power creativity has on the development of human potential. This passion led her from the educational field, into the arts therapy sector onwards to her current practice as a Life Coach. Finding links between different art forms, cultures and educational approaches inspires her current practice using creativity and dialogue as a key to unlock potential, invite self-expression and enhance self-awareness. Sarah is currently working as a lecturer and mentor at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (UoL) and as an arts therapist in secondary schools. Her Life Coaching practice in based online and in central London. |
My stories
Built an igloo in Lapland at -38°
Was introduced to the Queen of England
Danced with tribes in Indonesia
Was part of a Guinness World Record in 2018
Once travelled 4 countries in less than 24 hours
Sung in the most famous Italian music festival and felt very embarrassed afterwards
Walked hand in hand with Marina Abramovic in London
Was very lucky to live to tell the tale after driving too close to a glacier
Delivered several lambs on an Icelandic farm
Led over 1000 teachers across Iceland and Finland to discover the best education systems in Europe
One day I decided to try out Contact Improvisation dancing and drastically step out of my comfort zone
Stayed silent for 10 full days in the Himalayas (and loved it)
Pioneered a weeklong series of events addressing the theme of sexuality and the tabus around it
Regularly write down my dreams and dwell in interpreting them
Fell flat on my face while diving off the top of a very high waterfall
Volunteered in a Buddhist monastery without knowing anything about meditation and ended up living there for months (I found out it was very useful!)
Attended an initiation ceremony lead by the Dalai Lama and decided then I was going to commit my life to helping people
