My story
Sarah qualified as an arts therapist in London, from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (UoL) and is a registered professional with the Health and Care Professions Council. She is also a qualified, ICF ACC accredited Life Coach who works internationally, specialising in mental wellbeing for organisations, schools and individuals.
Sarah's background is in the Educational Sciences, she has an MA in Pedagogy and in Workplace Psychology. Her expertise is built on working and studying internationally, specifically in Iceland, Finland, France, Italy, Switzerland and the UK. Her approach stems from her curiosity on human potential and creativity, which originated while visiting universities and schools in Iceland and still inspires her PhD research today on mental wellbeing in academia. Sarah entered the private sector as Chief Therapist at InsideOut. A pioneering tech start-up, fighting mental health stigma in the work place and offering free therapy and life coaching to employees. Sarah currently collaborates with Perlab a spin-off research laboratory of the University of Florence, in collaboration with Yale University, on how to bring emotional intelligence in schools and companies globally. Building bridges between different areas of knowledge and professional sectors inspires her work to unlock potential, invite self-expression and enhance self-awareness in her clients. Sarah is an ICF ACC accredited life coach and HCPC registered creative arts therapist, her practice is based online and in person. She confidently works both in Italian and English. |
My stories
Built an igloo in Lapland at -38°
Was introduced to the Queen of England
Danced with tribes in Indonesia
Was part of a Guinness World Record in 2018
Once traveled 4 countries in less than 24 hours
Sung in the most famous Italian music festival and felt very embarrassed afterwards
Walked hand in hand with Marina Abramovic in London
Was very lucky to live to tell the tale after driving too close to a glacier
Delivered several lambs on an Icelandic farm
Led over 1000 teachers across Iceland and Finland to discover the best education systems in Europe
One day I decided to try out Contact Improvisation dancing and drastically step out of my comfort zone
Stayed silent for 10 full days in the Himalayas (and loved it)
Pioneered a week long series of events addressing the theme of sexuality and the taboos around it
Regularly write down my dreams and dwell in interpreting them
Fell flat on my face while diving off the top of a very high waterfall
Volunteered in a Buddhist monastery without knowing anything about meditation and ended up living there for months (I found out it was very useful!)
Attended an initiation ceremony lead by the Dalai Lama and decided then I was going to commit my life to helping people
